” When we leave an endowment, our contributions combined with others will help these important programs continue into perpetuity long after we’re all gone. It’s a win-win for everyone.”

– Allan and Sandy Fainbarg

In 1981, the Feuerstein and Fainbarg families founded the Jewish Community Foundation of Orange County based on their belief that our local community could affect positive change and create greater impact by pooling our philanthropic resources together. The founders began by leading the way with the establishment of permanent endowments and funds for ongoing giving, all created for the betterment of the Jewish community, Orange County, and the world as a whole now and into the future.

For more than 30 years the Jewish Community Foundation of Orange County takes pride in our outstanding reputation for reliability, transparency and confidentiality combined with solid investment strategies. With over $62 million in held assets and the guidance of over 50 lay leaders from within our community serving on our Board of Directors or Committees, our Foundation looks forward to continuing our mission to guarantee a Jewish tomorrow and to facilitate effective philanthropy for the benefit of our entire community.
