Be the Change is an “artivism” initiative inspired by the Jewish tenet of justice and drawing from the ritualistic Jewish Tzedakah box. Be the Change is about making space to talk about injustice and giving us all the necessary action steps to be agents of change in our local and global communities. JCFOC Weissman Arts is pleased to collaborate with the Skirball Cultural Center, sharing many of the boxes from their recent mounting of Be the Change. We are also commissioning four new boxes for our Orange County community. We are thrilled to announce the artists, topics, and OC Partner organizations hosting boxes.

Be on the lookout for more information as we bring this powerful project to Jewish spaces throughout Orange County. Sites will be linked with a map, programming, and online.
Be the Change is a national project started by the Boston-based Jewish Arts Collaborative (J Arts), which serves as the lead producer. Artist Caron Tabb was inspired to create the exhibition concept in partnership with Ruth Messinger, former CEO and President of American Jewish World Service.
