Steven Fainbarg was a cherished member of our community and a steadfast supporter of JCFOC throughout his lifetime.
Steven’s dedication to our community was unwavering. He generously devoted his time and resources to many causes he deeply cared about, driven by a profound desire to follow in his parents’ footsteps and uphold their legacy of philanthropy. Steven has been actively involved with JCFOC since the mid-1980s and has been a board member since 2004. Most recently, he served on the Executive Committee and Finance Committee and was the Chair of the Community Relations Committee. He was also a consistent, long-time supporter and advocate for the Endowment Book of Life and Grants Programs.
As we mourn Steven’s loss, we also celebrate the lasting impact of his generosity and dedication. His legacy will continue to inspire us, and we will honor his memory here at JCFOC by carrying forward the work he so passionately supported.
Steven’s family requests that donations be made to the Jewish Community Foundation Orange County for the Grants Program benefitting Jewish Orange County nonprofits, an initiative important to Steven.
